First off I`m new to this game and forum,so hi all. My question is how do I obtain the writ to enter Port Kuudad? Or any writ for that matter.
Thanks
Cryme
P.S. I`ve been playing RPG`s since the late 80`s. And this game harkens back to what RPG`s are all about. Substance, not the lastest in flashy graphics etc. Bravo Basilisk!!!!!!!

From
the FAQ:
The Gate Sentinels outside Port Kuudad won't let me enter without presenting a citizen writ. How can I get inside?
Spoiler wrote:There are several ways into Port Kuudad. You can show a Gate Sentinel a citizen writ which you can find throughout Mistfell. One of them can be found in Wolfenwood, a forest west of Everdale. Enter Wolfenwood from the west side and make your way east following the road. Go past the fresh trail of blood and you should see a path in the trees to the south. Take the path, and head west when you can. The citizen writ is on a mauled body at coordinates X=22 and Y=168. If you are rich and have gold to spare, you can bribe one of the Gate Sentinels with two thousand gold to let you in. Another way to enter Port Kuudad is to travel through the Farrock Caves and find an exit far to the east. After leaving the caves head northeast and enter the sewers of the city. You can use the sewers to find an exit to street level. Perhaps the easiest way to enter Port Kuudad is to use an Invisibility Potion at the main entrance and enter the guard house to use one of the wooden levers. Doing this will open the main gate, but you should leave the guard house before the Invisibility Potion ends, otherwise you will be spotted and attacked.
Glad you're enjoying it!

Welcome! Glad you are enjoying the game. We do too!
There are a couple of other places you can find the writ other than the one mentioned above. Heck, if you come by the cave route you can find one in the city itself! Be sure to look for the Quick Travel marker so you don't have to mess with the guards again.
