Someone just posted a thread in the /r/gaming subreddit on reddit.com asking people to recommend "hidden gems" in the Steam holiday sale. I know both Eschalon books are on Steam, and I'd certainly call them gems. Unfortunately, it seems as though the Eschalon books are not among the huge list of games that are on sale at Steam.

Does anyone know how the Steam sales work? Does the vendor have to sign up to have their games in the sale and take a cut in profit per sale?

I just concur to the previous post.

I missed the black friday sale by one day
I can only afford one of the two games and logging in onto steam every day just to see if I'll be able to get both of them "for the price of one"...

I'd love to see the same offer than the black friday one on steam, I know it's possible on steam to have a "buy one get the other one for free" type of offer.

I hope we'll have some kind of answer from Basilisk as to wether or not we might hope for a discounted price on Eschalon books...
