I never did finish Morrowind... was too busy messing around with mods, sidequests, and thievery. I remember using some of the texture upgrades to showcase computers at a little mom 'n pop outfit I worked at back in the day.
It's highly likely that I no longer have a copy... I'll have to go through the couple of spindles I have left. Oh well... I'd want the GOTY edition anyway. I suppose I'll at least hold out 'till Steam has a sale on it. Maybe I'll finish up New Vegas and Two Worlds by then... 0_o

You don't, you're working on Book III day and night

Graphical update or not, there's always a good reason to play Morrowind, that reason being that it's simply the best TES game to date. With that said that mod compilation does look pretty sweet. I haven't touched Morrowind in at least a year and a half, I'll have to see if I still have it installed. If not the discs are sitting less than 5 feet away from me.

I like the Elder Scroll series. Morrowind 2011 looks very impressive. But a 4GB download is nothing to sneeze at.

That's what high speed intarwebz are for.
Heck, I've downloaded 50GB into my Steam folder over the last two months... and so has my Dad, since I've gotten him most of the same games...

Man, talk about rude. I'd be ecstatic to see a mod I made packed up in something like that.
*shrug* Can't please everyone.
Well, there's always
Morrowind 2009

They've got a pretty interesting posting about the legality of it too.

Good to see the files are back online. I'm also interested in
OpenMW. Not only would it mean a native Linux client for running TES3, it may also rectify some of the bugs that STILL persist in the Gamebryo engine.
