ToHit probability

Anyone can tell me why a monster with 36% ToHitProbability hits me about three more often than I hit him with 72% ToHitProbability? Does random number generator just hate me?
It's been discussed before that you just hit a bad streak and if you play long enough you will even out to the laws of probability.
This said, I was playing another game and the random number generator just gave me 3 fumbles in a row again with each having a 5% chance of happening.
