First time poster, long time troller. I discovered the Eschalon games last summer and have been a devoted fan ever since. I finally registered here because I discovered something that no one else has mentioned this yet...
We all want to know what's happening with Book III right?? Well on a whim I went to the Book II page, then in the URL I added an additional "i" to the address and it takes you to this unpublished (or I guess just "unknown") web page:
http://basiliskgames.com/eschalon-book-iii
Can you say
EPIC!?!? Why are you holding out on us, Basilisk?!?!

Give us the scoop!!!
p.s. Sorry if this is old news...I just discovered it and almost wet myself.

It's a very nice poem, beautiful. The rhyme makes it very unlike anything known from Eschalon.
I certainly never saw this. Thanks for posting, Griffoneye.

I was wondering how long it would take someone to find this- turns out not long at all, since I had just put that page online a few days ago.
Consider it a teaser more than an announcement; further confirmation that we are working on things here in the studio.

Oooo, tricksey BW, tricksey!
Not to mention lovely picture! I've snagged it and am putting in my BookIII folder.

Keeping that little jewel secret was just plain mean BW.
It looks soooooo cool that I cannot wait to see more. At least we know you have been working your little fingers to the bone these past few months

Definitely a fun little poem, and yes -- nice picture.
Personally, I never doubted you folks were busy.

No one's commented on this yet, but note that the pillars on the new Book III page display dragons.
Hmmmm....

Are you sure those aren't basilisks?

Rather less meaning than the declining #'s on the [early] REM record covers, I'm sure.
But hell, BW, you still haven't told us who does the primary graphics for these games. Aside from this promo image . . . all the way through both games, whoever's doing the graphics is quite good at it... really good. I wanna know who it is, because somebody named "Mark Jones" is only listed in b2 for "additional graphics" and nobody's named in b1.
Does this mean I can assume that you're the one doing the graphics?
(It'd be cool to know who Mark Jones is, too, if he's anyone on this board. Rat 'im out, will ya?)

Under Lockston Hall in Port Kuudad you do find the skeleton of a dragon.
Hmmmm ... Here be Dragonlady?

Hmm... . Does the skeleton mean we'll be seeing at least one dragon make an appearance in Eschalon in b3?

"By the shell of me sainted Matriarch, t'is not I!
Sides, I thought that skeleton, sad as it is, was the last dragon on the planet so only dragons around are in art work and carvings. Shrug.
