The Drunken Lizard Pub

Apologies if this get's asked a lot, but is it possible to build a thief capable of just ghosting by all the game's monsters? I have lvl 33 Hide in Shadows, lvl 5 Move Silently, and lvl 19 dexterity, but I can't even get by the first catacomb rat in The Covent's Well.

Hide in shadows only works in complete darkness. Make sure there are no torches on the walls where you're trying to sneak. I also think it would be beneficial to put more points into move silently for now, as you're hide in shadows is quite high already. I'm pretty sure you can't run past General Ghors at the end of the game, so it might be worth it to get a few points in Piercing Weapons just to be safe.

Move silently is important in this game. Invisibility helps when the place is lit up.
