Mysterious key in Grimmhold (not the goblin key, just plain)

Hello to the forums!

I've been lurking for a while, and finally registered because this is (sort of) bothering me: While clearing out the Grimmhold maintenance area, a goblin dropped a loot sack which contained a key. I think the description was "Old key", I'll confirm the exact name as soon as I get to my savegame.

Does anyone have any information on this key, or is it a random drop, or a bug? As stated on the title, this is not the "goblin" key from the warlord, just a regular (?) one. Also, I've searched the forums using several approaches but no luck.

I think you mean "Odd Key." This from the "Fixed Item Compendium" linked in the Strategy Central post:

On Goblin Hacker, room at door 63, 62: Odd Key (Opens door at 77, 51)

Sometimes one of the goblins will have already opened that door for you, or you'll have already picked it or bashed it, so the key is never used in those cases.

That's the one! I figured it must have been something like that.

Also in hindsight, maybe I should have added a "very minor spoiler" warning? Oh well.
