Eschalon Book 2 > Skyrim

Ok, so maybe it is not necessarily "better", but I am finding it more addicting!
I only recently bought both book 1 and 2 through steam. I didn't know what to expect.

While I struggled with Book 1, I have been racing through book 2 and greatly enjoying it. I cannot say the same for skyrim. I believe I restarted that game 5 times within the first 24 hours, just because I was not happy with one thing or another. While I enjoy Skyrim's graphics, there is just something about the gameplay that does NOT draw me in like Eschalon.

So this is my thank you post to Basilisk Games for making a great product that, hands down, has been a MUCH greater value for my money than $60 Skyrim.

I absolutely cannot wait for book 3 but am still happy to know that I can play book 1 after finishing book 2 =D

I just finished Book 2. That was quite a bit shorter than I was expecting. I am disappointed because I enjoyed playing it :)
Now I must decide between Book 1, Avadon or trying this one again without cheating heh.
It took me 19.3 hours.
Thanks Basilisk! No regrets on buying this!

Avadon is like Book 2, you really expected there to be more. I know lots of players when they reached the endgame went, "Wait, this is it? Shouldn't there be some more?"

I kind of found that made both much more replayable. I have a few hundred hours playing time on both Eschalon games, and probably 100 on various playthroughs of Avadon.

It should be noted for those who don't know it that Avadon is a party-based game, not a solo character game (though you can play it as a solo character).
