I can't seem to find all 10 larva, only have 9. I have searched and searched, most of the nests didn't even have any.
Am I screwed?

There should be more than enough in there so unless something has gone a bit wrong you must have missed a passage way somewhere.

If your absolutely certain you have searched everywhere and think something might have gone wrong, you try saving then deleting the file "34_cave.map" from your save game directory, this will reset the cave map to it's default condition and contents (if you delete the .ent file of the same name it will also reset the enemies in the cave).

I found it!!!

I discovered a couple outside of the cave in one of the pathways on that map to be added to those found in the cave. I think I ended up with 15 or 16, selling the leftovers.

Just don't eat them. Yuch!

Having said that, Lord_P caused the town being overrun by Hive Drones in the future...
