I had on a leather belt. When I look at it I get:

Leather Belt
Category: light armor
Base Armor Rating: 1
Weight: 1.0 lbs
Value: 10

I recently found:

"Blessed Rope Belt of the Healer"
Category: n/a
+5 hit points
+5 mana
Weight: 0.5 lbs
Value: 150

My question is why isn't it listed as a 'belt' and have an armor rating?

another little thing propably not worth an own topic:

i encountered a divination spell which has the scroll-symbol of an elemental spell. i think it was something like "air compression" or so.

Rope belts don't have an armor rating, it seems to belong to the newbie cloth gear category so it're not even light armor. Jut like how commoner's shirts and pants have no armor rating.
And it's called blessed rope "belt", so it's obviously a belt.
