What's the best place to buy UFO: Enemy Unknown (a.k.a. X-Com: UFO Defense)? It's not in GOG and I don't know many sites.

Steam and Amazon both have the older X-Com games I believe. Gamersgate may as well.

You don't have to post suggestions anymore. I bought it from steam some three months ago.

lol DOH! didnt pay attention to your last posts date lol
BUT, i have now played the demo for the new xcom and i think ill buy it.
never played the old ones, but the new one id play for its, 1. turn based combat, 2. reimagining of the old game 3. cinematic type gameplay.

I suggest trying out the old one. Instead of two action turn-based system, the old X-Com aka UFO features an action point -based system that allows more freedom and more tactic.

agreed. I wish the new one would have kept the *movement point* based system. That certain actions cost a certain amount of movement points and as the character advances those points increase. I remember on some missions just having some of my guys run accross the fields exploring with no points left for shooting just to boost up their time units. It was really fun. I wish they would port the Windows mobile vs of the game to an android vs, too.

Ill look into it for sure, but the cinematic quality of that new one looks cool, and really im not good at tactical games so that will help keep me interested.
Then again, when the old ones on steam for like 5 bucks over 50 for the new one, i tend to get the cheap one first
