Due to the configuration of my Linux Laptop (widescreen), where I have Eschalon Book 2 installed, I have to run in [Windowed] mode or it is distorted and cannot scroll.

The problem, the Taskbar hides the bottom 1/2in of the window.

Is there a way to change the size of the window in the [Windowed] mode :?:

There's no way to change the size of the window. You're better off trying to figure out how to hide the taskbar. What Linux distribution are you using?

I've noticed this. It is not from the linux distribution, it is real size of the monitor. For a certain category of monitors does not fit.
Even if you hide the menu bar still does not fit well. Probably the top of the window is too thick. It is my opinion as a beginner. :)
