[bug] escaping monsters attack you after reloading game

steps to reproduce:
1) get into a fight
2) damage a monster so it hardly has any hp left and starts running away
3) save
4) reload
expected:
monster is still running away
actual
monster attacks you once again

I like this bug. It saves me time on chasing monsters.

Actually I don't think it's a bug since if you run down the monster anyways it will turn and fight again - more so if cornered

'running awayness' seems to be a turn-by-turn decision .. if you wait long enough I think even damaged monsters will eventually come back at you. They heal too, of course (but not maybe as fast as you).

This is true - they do turn back after a while.
Still, doesn't mean this is a bug - the monsters are probably set to stop running after x rounds. This counter doesn't get saved, though, which makes the monsters revert to their "natural" state - to fight.

Lol yeah I hate when those cowards runs away, why can't they fight like real men!!

Me too...
I really hate it when monsters run away. But, that's why I purchased 5 levels in bow weapons and read a book. Which gave me 7 points in Bow.
Now when they run, they get shot in the back.

Really useful "feature". Will miss it if it gets removed(fixed?).
But probably it should be
