Totally stumped, am in Dwarven mine and need to blow something up. Have powder kegs but no idea how to blow them up. Help would be appreciated.

You can either shoot them with a bow or magic (shift + click). You can also create a fused keg with a timer.

Alternatively, you can of course poke them with your melee weapon although I wouldn't particularly recommend this, for obvious reasons.

Also ordinary closed barrels can be dealt with in the same way - forcing attack mode by using left-shift. They usually have stuff in them, so you want to open them up.

And left-shift is handy for positioning your character before dropping the powder keg. Left-shift + left-mouse-click will position your character in the way the mouse pointer is facing.

Later on you'll come across powder kegs with fuses... as soon as you drop those, you have a set number of turns to clear out of the way before it explodes.

As mentioned you can make barrels with fuses yourself, once they're dropped you've got five turns to get to safety.

The recipe is a barrel of black powder, a wick and sulfur.
