I love this game, and the previous two, but this is the first time my player received a concussion. I am in the Seawarden's Guild and it is difficult to go farther with this concussion. How do you get rid of it?

Wasn't aware there was such a thing. I guess my character got lucky! In any case, I imagine you can get help with this by going to a priest or buying some cure affliction potion. If you're an atheist a potion or spell is the only thing you can do. Unless concussions are temporary, I'm not sure.

I never have read about this before, but it reduced every ability by 50%. Makes it very difficult to fight the Marauders in the Guild. I am an atheist, and have tried the potions with no luck.

Elixir of cure ailment or priest healing removes concuss status.

I had a healer who was so happy with the cure ailment spell until I got concussed and couldn't cast it.

I tried the Elixir of Cure Ailment and that did not work. I have tried Healing potions and anything else I can find. I am not sure if I can continue at this point. Might have to start over.

Sounds like a bug. Cure Ailment potion should work.

If you don't want to start over, email me your saved game and I will heal your character for you.

I also found that potions of cure ailment didn't cure my character of a concussion, but in the documentation it says they should, so I think it's a bug. Luckily I wasn't playing as an atheist that time.

I could have sworn this worked for me during testing...

I've been concussed twice during testing so I know it worked for me.

I have also been concussed many times over (Brutes were never that bright anyway, having a concussion must REALLY suck), and an elixir of cure ailment always worked for me.
Sounds like BW is the master healer though, as he can fix any problem we've got for us.

How do you suffer from a concussion? This never occurred to me and I played as a fighter who is determined to receive a lot of physical damage.
Maybe it only happens when you do not wear a helmet (and I mean a real helmet not just some sort of head gear)?

That's possible Calathon:
In both of my playthorugh I never bothered with armor at all, just a mercantile hat. It works out alright for a mage, but I think it was one of the reasons I didn't finish my fighter build.

Will a concussion go away eventually? I don't want to lose my True Healer status, but this concussion is a real pain in the *ss!

It doesn't go away because when you click on the status icon there isn't a turns remaining number like poison.
