Is there one in part 3? I found them easily in parts 1 & 2, but struggling to find one in this game.

No - it's just one of the "secret places" to find in Book III.

FTR, I didn't find it until my third playthrough of the first map - and even then, I think I had to find it with a character that already had Cartography!! (On the bright side, finding it got me to Level 3 Cartography "free", very early in the game!! )

First post. I really, really appreciate how everyone makes such an effort to let folks know that spoilers are in their posts, but please spoil me with the location of the cartography book. After I read your post, I searched and searched in the first area and around Rockhammer but could not find it anywhere. I like my maps in color! Thank you very much.
