miss bimbles quest broken

Have a question about a quest.....I've recovered Miss Bimbles but when I go back to the Southern Boglands, Madam Gilda is not at her cabin and is nowhere to be found so I cannot complete the quest....am I missing something or is this a quest bug? Thanks to anyone who can help me with this...

Did you drag any bugs over her way? Maybe she got killed in a fight with a swarm?

sorry to hear it. either a bug or a swarm killed her because you got one near her.
the way to fix it I can think of:
a) go to former save where you see her.
b) learn to use game editor well enough to put her back in game (no clue on that or if it is possible)
otherwise you have a kitty cat companion.
