I've reached this map, and after exploring south came across a Wizard Emporium where there's a four figure number required to get in.

Did a search but found nothing, can some kind soul help me out?

Thanks.

You need to use

the Reveal Map spell
to find the combination.

There is another way to see the answer without using spells.
[+] SPOILER
After accessing the game menu by pressing ESC, you have the ability under 'Options' to turn the game brightness up to 100% by right-clicking 20 times. This will allow you to see the answer, assuming it isn't raining or cloudy (or even night).
Pressing and holding tab to show the tile grid may also work.

I'm obviously doing something wrong as I did use a level 6 Reveal Map spell but didn't notice anything. Also I do have the Brightness upped to 100%.

Thanks.

Thank you. Just went back with my mage and was looking for something to do with the combination lock in the game window then saw the number in green on my automap. Don't know how I missed it the first time. Doh!

Would someone mind posting the actual code? I don't have Reveal Map, or even any Elemental skill at all with my current character, and the Brightness trick didn't work. Otherwise I'll be reduced to scrolling through the gate code one number at a time, until it opens. Thanks.

The combination changes with each game. :)

You can use tab to enable the tactical grid. That should allow you at least a hint as to what the code is.
