Anyone know if it is the same max in book 3 as it is in book 1? At 40 strength in book one, you can carry 13 pounds in your hands and still cast.

The same rules seem to apply.

Yeah, the formula appears to be STR/3 (rounding down) for spell casting weight allowance. With a STR of 42, I could have up to 14lbs equipped and still cast.
