The Drunken Lizard Pub

I am wholly fed up with this game. I have reached Macross and all points in between and don't know how to proceed North. Everything I try fails. This is my second try at this game and second stalemate. Any and all help appreciated. Also where is withered Akadai head?

There's only one path to the north:

It's through "Omentor Temple," which can be entered via a giant skull in the Valley of the Wanderer. To get through, you'll have to find four unique Widget items, though. (Though not a plain "Widget," which you ordinarily shouldn't ever encounter in the game.)

As for the head, have you been to Mirkland yet?

If you had missed it, there's a raft on the south beach in Deadman's Strand (south of Rockhammer) which you can take across the water. You'll find a few options there.
