So....assuming book2 will be alot larger with a few more cities and such what kind of transportation should there be? Boats, horse etc?
Should they be conventional or should they be something that is for eschalon world idea?
I know these have been mentioned in other threads but I thought something along this vein deserved its own thread of ideas.
So post what you think should be added....or not added if you do not want mounts and ships persay.

Theres a spell that does that alpha
But on topic, i think boats would be a cool idea. In book 1 sea transport was kind of mentioned, but there could be so much more there. Why not have it that you can buy a boat, go around in the sea exploring and encountering monsters? Of course using a boat would be faster then walking along coast lines.

I love that idea. I mentioned this in the original wish list thread and was glad to see it included in the sticky compilation. Not since the Ultimas have I been able to experience the joy of exploring the seas, fighting sea monsters and pirates, stealing their ship if it was better, discovering islands with surprises, new NPCs, etc. Eschalon seems well suited to this type of gameplay.

BW said there will be no horses.

Sorry, just had to say something after reading, post after post of your reponding to old posts. It's annoying.

Isn't it ironic that with this
commanding post, our own Dragonlady has attained the rank of Platinum Officer??

Well, I'm reviving old dead posts.
But if you request, I'll stop.
The occassional reviving is alright if it is pertainent, but not for the sake of just doing it in bunches. How about one every other day? Or none.
