This was probably in the mid to late 90's

The basic game was free but you could other episodes for 5 or 6 dollars......One of the first places you went was a hall leading to a library...




This game was an indie game and it was quite complicated...Dying a lot.......

Maybe a few more clues would be helpful. Single player or party? Turn based? What kind of world - medieval or other? Magic or not?

no party.....1rst episode got me stuck..lots of dying......adding attributes to your character was really complicated
