First of all I have to say that I love this game, I'm enjoying it more than most rpgs made by big-budget developers.

I have some minor suggestions that IMO would further improve the game :

It think it would be a good thing if some sound-effect played when someone turns hostile because they saw you commit a crime (similar to the one playing when there is an area description). It's very easy to miss the text message, and I had to replay a portion of the game, because I had not realized that I had made an important questgiver angry.

I couldn't sell the magical spear I had found, because it was too valuable. No merchant had enough money. I think you should be able to sell expensive stuff anyway (but for less than what it's worth of course, up to the max money the merchant has in his inventory). It feels wrong to have to just throw it away.

Massive SPOILERS about the werewolf quest:

Maybe this is a bug. When I talked to the merchant who I was sent to kill (because he was a werewolf), he told me it was the other way around, and the questgiver was in fact the real werewolf. I agreed to go back and kill him instead. Some time later I changed my mind again, and killed the merchant, and it turned out that the original questgiver had told me the truth from the beginning.
I returned with the fur to him, but now I couldn't give it to him, because I had agreed to side with the merchant (before changing my mind again). I think both ways to solve the quest should stay open until you actually kill one of them. Except for this, it was an interesting quest, I like when you can do things in different ways and have to make decisions :)

END SPOILER

Once again, great game, it feels very polished, and I have only experienced a single bug (sunder flesh crash, but I know that it will be fixed in the patch).

Good idea on the sound effect for NPC's going hostile.

Re: selling epic spear - there are merchants further along in the game with more gold. If you buy items from a merchant first, your gold goes into their available gold pool, and sometimes that is enough to fund their purchase of your epic weapon. So you get to buy things you want and you get to sell something of high value. It has worked for me.

While discussing merchants' gold and patch suggestions: When getting stuff repaired from weapon/armor vendors, the required fees do not end up in the merchant's gold pool, as one would expect. Is this a reflection of a natural habit of shop clerks to make some extra money, unaccountable from their boss or the tax collector, or merely a bug?

It's the way the game works. Only stuff being bought or sold shows up in the merchant's gold pool. The merchant pockets the rest to keep it away from the tax collectors.

Challange The Alchemist seems to be a bit inappropriate, since it doesnt require you to MAKE any potions at all... So one can be "The Alchemist" without single point in alchemy and/or creating any potions... Maybe name it differently?
