Sometimes when I click on a destination in the quicktravel menu I get the error message.

Sorry, can't be more detailed, just that box and then the game quits.

(doesn't matter if full screen, windowed or Direct X/Open GL)

Did something happen to your installation? Did you move files around, or rename your saved game folder?

No nothing like that, just installed it yesterday played a bit and this happens from time to time.

I am getting this as well under different circumstances. I am using the Impulse version just installed. When leveling from 3 to 4, if I raise my Perception to 32 or over, I get this a few steps out of the leveling screen. I can repeat this consistently but don't have this issue if I raise a different stat. Please let me know if you would like more information.

EDIT: Nevermind I see that this is fixed in 1.2. Keep up the good work.

Nope, no more information needed. This is fixed in 1.02. Impulse is selling version 1.01. We will send them our version 1.02 on Monday and they should have it up shortly after.

Not to sound ungrateful for the fast fix or anything, but I gotta ask... how was this not discovered in testing? Did no one really raise perception this high?

I had a perception well over 32 and never ran across this during the beta.

There were some last minute adjustments made to the mana regeneration that created this bug.

Ah, that explains it then. A dangerous game changing stuff between end of beta and release and not re-testing.
