Food stacking
Is there a reason why food does not stack? I'd love to stack the apples and fish, etc. Less slots taken up that way.

Sorry Dragonlady- I must have missed your first post.
Um, no reason at all other than it didn't get added. It would take a bit too much tweaking to get it added to Book I unfortunately.
Stacking items was added fairly late in development, so not a lot of thought was put into what items should or shouldn't stack. Potions and Alchemy components were taking up way too much room, so they were obvious candidates for stacking; I never considered food.
Book II is going to have a much better inventory system- more stackable items, autostacking, key rings, etc.
