I have been waiting for a character that regenerates. Finally. Thank you.
I feel like I'm cheating now -- I know how many rounds I have to beat the guy in, and what his weaknesses are...I usually just play games and figure it out as I go along, but now I know ahead of time...maybe I should stop ...

Not seen this. No clue. (Yeah, I know I'm helpful.)

Re: Just to Let you Know... (Minor Spoilers)
I agree with the Adamantine dagger of Lilith's. On my first playthrough my character was a rogue and I used short bladed weapons. I think this is the best one the game makes. You can also buy these late in the game *very occasionally* in the stores when they show up.

Re: Just to Let you Know... (Minor Spoilers)
The weapon with the highest base damage isn't the best if you aren't proficient in using it. That's all I meant by subjective. If I have focused on getting a high skill in bows, it doesn't really pay for me to use "The Executioner" if I can't hit anything with it.

Re: Just to Let you Know... (Minor Spoilers)
I don't know, this is all pretty subjective. Given that you can imbue your weapons and armor and this chart doesn't take into account all of that, I would doubt that everybody is going to agree with you. Plus, there are a whole lot more armor items that give you skill that many people prefer (e.g ...

Re: How do you light dungeons?
I have never had this problem. I really think it is either your eyes or your monitor. For me, a torch is plenty bright (Cat's eyes is actually kind of dim.) Maybe....get a new monitor? Or, have your cataracts fixed?
No offense. (Supposed to be funny.) (Maybe not funny?)

Predator sight potion?
So, I have come across a few potions of predator sight (same benefit as the elemental spell predator sight.) I haven't found any instructions on how to make this in the game or in the threads here -- has anybody figured out the secret formula (alchemy) for this? I am trying to play a character with ...

Magic usage suggestions for Book II
Game 1 overall is great. My biggest beefs are:
1. The bad guys you come across mostly just deal straight damage. There were precious few that could deal elemental damage (fire, frost) or magic damage. Only a couple bosses that I recall (the Hive Queen, Gramuk) could paralyze. Curse was a nice ...

I think that these have been answered in some other threads...(at least, the lever one has)...but, I believe, no and no.

Re: If you achieve Destroyer, post here [spoilers]
Well - I did it, second playthrough (first playthrough I ended the "right" way) -- I have no idea how to post a screenshot however. My husband will know so I will try again when he comes back into town tomorrow. My character was a nefarious rogue, level 18 by the end (I really tried to get to level ...

Help me! Whistling cave spoiler wanted (not the chest code)
So, I have been perusing the posts and I am on my second playthrough of the game, and somehow I missed an entire section of whistling cave -- the SE corner. I was just looking around and it looks as there is more play area and a door lit up somewhere down there....but I don't know how to get in ...

Re: Tourax
A couple (possibly) helpful tips on the tauraxes (and any other guys) - (some have already been said)
-rest in short increments, and rest DURING THE DAY. It seems like the bad guys are much more likely to pop up at night, or at dusk/dawn.
-use a ranged weapon or spells and make them chase you ...
