I guess I got too close to the Alchemist in Bordertown when I went to look in the chest by the well. It appears that I was caught "stealing" and now he wants to fight. Is there any way to make peace so that I can deal with him again? I still need to get level 5 alchemy and would like to be able to ...

I guess I will have to try back later. My current lock pick skill is at 3 and it shows I have 0% chance to pick the lock. Thought I would try to bash it in and I can only hit for 1% damage and then only when I connect (usually about 3 out of 5 swings).

Is there a key to get to the chest in the locked room in Lillith's cabin?

Picking the lock is useless and bashing the door is frustrating.
