I think one of my favorite things about this game is the combat. It's nice and pacey, but not overly so and gives a nice, action-ie flow.

But yeah, this game is pretty darn nice. I'm glad it did well enough to merit a second game in the series.

I admit, I did not take the time to read this entire thread, but has anyone suggested being able to recruit mercenaries? I understand Eschalon is meant to be a single-player game, but similar games, such as Fallout 3 and Fable, allowed you to take on followers for quests or to serve as defenders. It ...

I think I'm in a spot of trouble. Playing threw the game, I've noticed that the MiniMap on the right side of the page isn't showing. When I click on it, I get a list of settlements to jump to, but thats it. Is this a known bug, or do I have a corrupted copy or somthing?

Hello. I've downloaded the Eschalon demo and I'm pretty interested in it. I want to by the game, but I'm not sure that I should wait until Book Two comes out and buy that. What do you think I should do?
