Re: True Thief vs Combat Thief Possible?
Thank you. Clear answers, which was what I was hoping for. Esp the 1/3 experience point. My fallback character may be a Musketeer (high hit and avoid being hit). i.e. like a fencer.

True Thief vs Combat Thief Possible?
Hi,
Was thinking of playing a thief..but as a thief. By that I mean focus on sneaking past threats, opening chests, and getting away. As opposed to killing everything (via backstabbing etc). However is it possible to gain enough experience this way (I know some is gained from picking locks) or in ...

Re: Unable to deal with known issue: man on rack
Thanks folks. I'd rather not redo Vela ( a lot of critters there!) so will go with the option of finding other key and storming the Goblin car mechanic's (
) citadel,
Thanks!
Lin

Thanks!

Re: Unable to deal with known issue: man on rack
Hmm wondering if I am out of the woods. I got to Erudor in the wizards castle. he tells me about the war and recognizes me. But I checked a walkthrough (because I am concerned about getting back 'on track') and he should tell me about the 3 goblin keys and gem.
He does not say this to me. He only ...

Unable to deal with known issue: man on rack
So I've run into the known issue:
Known Issue: The narrative text mentions someone hanging from a rack in Vela. There is nobody there.
And cannot recover via save game. So the solution says to go to Shadowmere and talk to someone there. But when I go over there there is simply a locked door and a ...

Support for Martial Artists
So I see that there will be a feat for unarmed combat. Excellent. One problem I've had in past RPGs in playing a martial artists is you have to give up so many cool toys (magic weapons; armor etc). NWN fixed this by having a lot of gloves etc. My question is... will Book II have nice goodies for ...

Re: Any Keystroke to walk to an object and do the default action
I was looking to use it in a modest way. I'm less then 6 tiles away.. I click and go. Found in a fair number of games. If I'm stupid enough to use it long distance well then yes i pay a price.
A nit.

Any Keystroke to walk to an object and do the default action
hi,
Like the demo so far. Is it possible to click on an object from a distance and have the avatar walk to it and do the default action? This would cut out a bit of fiddling to get in front of an object before using.
Feature request for future otherwise
Thanks,
Lin
