Can't run the demo on a 64bit Arch Linux [SOLVED!]

Post by tempsanity »

Hello,

I'm thinking about buying the game. I was able to run it on my old laptop (Arch Linux 32bit) but I can't launch it on my primary desktop - because of the 64bit architecture. Will there be a patch/64 bit version?

2nd question: are Linux savegames compatibile with the ones from Windows?

Nice game for an indie developer! Keep up the good work. You may really create something great when you get a bigger team/more experience.

I'm dreaming about an ADOM-like complexity with Eschalon's graphics. ;>
I would love more interactivity - like cooking meat etc. in Unreal World (amazing Finnish graphical roguelike). Anyway - the game is nice. I just hope Book II will be something different, not just new levels and possibility to run.

Edit:

I managed to run it :)

You just have to do:

Code: Select all

pacman -S lib32-libstdc++5
I hope someone finds it useful.
