Arrange Inventory?

It's been a while since I've played Eschalon. For some reason, I keep thinking that there's an arrange inventory key that arranges it by type. Am I just imagining things or..?

There's never been such a thing.

If there was to be one, let's say in Book II, how would you like to see it work?

Hm..well, it could be a simple option in the inventory screen (right-click in screen to automatically arrange items by type, for example), or a menu that opens up that allows you to choose how to optimize the screen (right-click opens menu that has options including: arrange by type, armor ratings, etc.). It would be pretty neat to have something of this sort, as the inventory is pretty big and can be cluttered. It's all too easy to misplace an important item

I've been playing Redshifts "The Quest" all too much lately and they have something like that for inventory. click on inventory and it shows everything you have with up and down keys for scrolling beyond the screen. Above the inventory list are individual buttons for, weapons, armor, magic wands/scrolls, potions/herbs, miscellaneous, oops and herbs and potions. Things like a mortar and pestle icon go in with the herbs. You double click on that to bring up screen to make your potions.

When you look at the weapons for example you can point to a certain weapon and it tells you if it is equipped, what damage, weight, and whether it can be enchanted or not, etc.
