I didn't think to get a screen shot of my Destroyer. I think I'll go back and kill everything I left standing before I do it again. I was a Rogue Ranger, though I generalized more than most of you seem to have. Used a couple Hastes and Invisibility potions and stood back and shot them for a while, then when I ran out of invisibility, I moved to the passage to the Crux where only two guards could get to me at a time and slugged it out. Lots of Healing potions, as I stuck with light armor (all +3, of course), The Composite Great Bow and the Executioner (both +3 hit and damage).
This is a very addicting game. I can hardly wait for Part II.
Hi!
Here's my Destroyer. Bless, stoneskin, ogre strength, nimbleness, two invisibility potions and a lot of haste spells did the job. I used a bow and a sword equally and of course threw the fuel flask at the beginning.
just forgot to open the stats menu, thief, lvl 18, all values including artifacts and spells
attributes strength 29, dex 49, end 15, int 20, wisd 20, perc 18, conc 18
(important) skills
alchemy 15, div 18, element 15, light armor 11, hide in shadows 13, bow 13, sword 13
why do I get the same end screen, when I have "terminated" the whole world - there could be no goblin invasion anymore..???
Did it too, but I found out that the "Paladin" combo is pretty easy, when having all divine buff lvl 6...
Well, see the stats for yourself...
And here is the ending message...
As for equipement, all was +3 (except the Priest's cape that was +4), using the Great Adamantine Sword (+3 +3) and Sheild. No healing potion, only mana for the initial buff and a second Haste cast.
I just read through several of these and am sorry that I did not display my stats before applying the coup de' gras. ( Is that how you spell it?)
Did a quick save just befoer taking the teleport to the council chambers and did both the good and the destroyer endings. Just downright cool.
Thanks for a great game.
