Still Life, and games like it

Post by Evnissyen »

Actually, maybe I should be asking about Still Life instead of Keepsake. I've played the demo and I kind of like it. French goth. Anybody played the game and know if it's worth grabbing? I assume it gets much more interesting?

I'm also wondering if there're any people out there who like this style of game (variations on the Dreamfall/TLJ, Black Mirror, Still Life, Syberia type format), and have any suggestions about which ones are the best / most fun / most interesting? The only one of these I bought was The Longest Journey, which I liked.

I downloaded Dreamfall and tried to play it, but it wouldn't play on my system. Either it's not compatible with my graphics card or I'm missing some sort of software that comes with Dreamfall and therefore it will only work if I buy it. I sort of suspect the latter, but I wouldn't want to take the chance.
Certainty: a character-driven, literary, turn-based mini-CRPG in which Vasek, legendary "Wandering Philosopher", seeks certainties in a cryptically insular, organic, critically layered city.

well, not sure my computer could ever support either games graphics, but looking around Keepsake puts me to sleep. I love strategy game, but also hate puzzle games in like "Myst".

Stilllife looks awesome, but I can't find any info about it. No trailer atleast.

Oh, hell. I've attracted a spambot.

And 22 posts so far. She's prolific. (Or it.)

Sorry for the double post, but I was afraid of this.... Now that the spambot's been vanquished, along with its posts, it looks like I've just called Mongolian a spambot. Let's be clear: I'm under no delusions, nor illusions, that Mongolian is a spambot.

By the way, Mongolian: You can download the Still Life demo here, if you haven't played it already, if that's what you meant by not being able to find out anything about it. It's not excessively large.
