"sorry for the poor screenshot, for some reason i can't take normal ones on my linux machine"
I'm very glad I stumbled upon this game a few days ago. I enjoyed the experience and I can't wait for book 2.
The only complaints I have:
I didn't see a point to have different classes. You pretty much need to utilize all of them in order to do well.
Some classes felt weak. I tried a rogue at first and had an awful time. I tried a magick user and was able to do much better but the kill 1 guy and run around while your mana returns strategy got boring quick. I finally made a paladin and soared through the game really easy.
Ending was kind of quick. I expected a more fearsome opponent. After i killed his spiders it took 5 hits to kill him.
Some skills you only needed to put one point into and more points were just a waste such as hide in shadows, the armor skills, shields.
Why even have lock-picking when you can just bash everything open?
Having to swap out your shield and weapon in order to cast a spell was kind of annoying since you didn't occur any penalty from the gear swapping.
Overall i give the game two thumbs up. Thanks for the good game.
