Yellow Demon Statue (SPOILERS)

Ok i´m in my second run and inside the goblin fortress there´s a yellow demon statue or something, it generates goblins(xp), other then that does anyone know if there´s a quest there?

And since i´m a pure elemental mage i got to lvl 21 just killing those spawned goblins with supernova, and returning via portal once in a while to dehex and use the well at blackwater.
I didn´t try it but i guess it could be made early in the game since the portal from the house is a easy to acess to crakamir.

Apreciate any answers or clues since i think i´m missing something about that demon.

Thanks. I thought it was maybe a quest of the expansion that never was, like the lighthouse one, the sacrificial dagger that was bugging me. I rather have Book 2 sooner than some expansion to book 1 anyway.
