I personally enjoyed Diablo/Diablo II quite a bit, although I would barely call them RPGs. Still, I would say the series is one of the more enjoyable "Action pseudo-RPGs" ever made...and I don't like Action pseudo-RPGs.

Hack and slash games like diablo are great fun, for a while. But when you reach the high levels, most of them just get plain boring. All you do is hack away at big monsters with extreme hit points and all spells seem to do the same thing.

At least that's what I think.

I thought people on this forum didn't care that much about graphics:/
It's pretty clear to everyone that Eschalon is no oblivion or gothic 3

I too have trouble with older games because of the older graphics. I'm learning to overcome this. The trick with Diablo was this: play it when it was new.

I actually find a lot of newer games have graphics which put me off. I like the look of older games, I like 2D sprites and so forth.

All in all, I'm not picky about whether graphics are old, new, 2D or 3D, just as long as it looks good, to me.
There are worlds out there where the sky is burning. And the sea's asleep and the rivers dream … People made of smoke and cities made of song … Somewhere there's danger, somewhere there's injustice, somewhere else the tea's getting cold!
