The dungeon treasure team has stated the game will be single player only, sweet :)

Also, I asked a couple of questions regarding whether the games focus will be hack and slash or more puzzle\exploration type, I found their response encouraging.

See link below to read about it. Also they made their board public now so you can read it with registering.

Cheers!

Looks like a beautiful game, and they say all the right things. The thing that makes me nervous is the mention of "real time." That's a real challenge to put together an interface that can handle real-time combat for a complex battle system with a variety of skills and even multiple characters. It'll be interesting to see if they get it right.

...It's one of the reasons I love the turn-based game so much.

This game is still alive, a dev team member just posted recently in their forum. Things are moving forward, but they are apparently having a tough road to trod with Java in respects to the lot of it.

Like Zander says, hope they'll have a Mac version on the way once they finally get around to finishing the development.

...Although I'm not counting on it.

Does anybody mention that in the forums? Haven't checked... .

If it's being programmed in java, so I don't see why there wouldn't be a mac compatable build.
If there are any master java programmers out there. Contact me at admin@dungeontreasure.com

Looks like a mod of Dungeon Master Java?

A few art pieces in the screenshots were lifted directly, and the gameplay looks pretty much the same. DMJ is open source and freeware, so this is perfectly OK to do. It does seem like this should have been mentioned somewhere though.
