I guess I wasn't thinking? Or I thought the "10 larvas" quest needed a different breed of maggot?
So now, I have one larva left in my bag, and - wait a sec! I need that!
I sold the others earlier, so the vendors' inventories have already reset.

Is there any chance the larvas respawn in the honeycombs? Abandon quest?

Don't think so.

There are a few more larvae than you need (to allow you to explore the joys of "using" one, I guess), but not twice as many. You might as well just right-click on your one remaining larva, because it's not good for much else, now.

Of course, it's possible someone knows of a cheat to get around this--I don't.

How many did you sell? There are 4-6 extras in game if you know where to look. Like down near the path to the Mercenaries' cave.

I think for me, that quest is doomed...
I've sold a good number of em.
And yes, I've found a small handful outside the hive in other parts of the forest.
