The Games Music
Hi, 1st post here! Just got the game and its great! Color me crazy but some of this music sounds like it has been redone from another game called Siege of Avalon (SoA). Both SoA and Eschalon are very similar. Anyone else notice some of the music similarites that has played SoA? Not that its bad because I greatly enjoyed the music. Thanks

I read elsewhere (cant find link) that they used royalty free music tracks (for some track not all). So it is not unusal to here some of Eschalon music track used in other games.

Re: The Games Music
Thanks for the reply. All good by me!
I just thought maybe some of these guys who worked on the game were a part of the team that worked on SoA, hence why some of the similar, if not the same music was put in and the very similar game elements with the "Interactive Book" idea. Also its not all the tracks mind you but only a couple.
As a side note, Eschalon has gotta be the most addicting rpgs I have played in a while, more so than the Witcher or Neverwinter Nights. Thanks to Basilisk Games for making an excellent game!!

Thanks for the link to that topic. I had never seen this thread before, even though I joined this board around that time, and it answers pretty much all of the questions I had about Book I's music.Unclever title wrote:*Pulls link out of sleeve with hand over his like a magician*Elveron wrote:I read elsewhere (cant find link) that they used royalty free music tracks (for some track not all). It turns out, one of my two favorite tracks, what I call 'The Salted Coast/Vela theme', is the free "Air Prelude" piece by Kevin Macleod.
Does anyone know anything more about Kevin Macleod? He just gives away his music for free?! I'd like to read up on this guy!
