Spells not going into spellbook

Not sure what's going on, but I've bought Supernova and Portal, read the scrolls, but they aren't in my spellbook now.

I've bought each of them twice and the problem continues.... any ideas?

I'm not a spell caster, but... did you select a high enough spell level? Since those are both high level spells with a minimum casting level, if you're on "level one" they might not show up.

Well- I'm level 11, but I don't think that's the problem- I was able to learn them, but they simply don't show up at all when I click my spellbook icon.

I've now noticed that I'm missing Invisibility, also. Here's what's interesting about that- I previously had it as one of my Quick Set spells, and it still works. But I can't see it in the book, so I can't change its level, etc.

Is there a max number of spells that can be seen in the spellbook? I have a few divination spells in there too..... could they be crowding out the elemental ones?

What version of the game are you playing? The very first release (1.0) did have a bug that lost the top 2 spells in your spell book. However, this was fixed quite a while ago.

You know you can scroll down, right? The arrows are on the right side of the window. Apologies if this isn't the problem, but you wouldn't believe the obvious things I've missed.

In fact, I noticed late last night that I am somehow still running 1.0 I updated, but then went to bed almost immediately. If that's a known problem with 1.0, I should be ok now!
