question on Ossuary (spoiler)

I've explored most of Ossuary and reach a point in the northwest corner that goes onto a new map but before I go forward there was one exit I could not open in the north east corner. I did not see any sort of lock to switch (or behind the door to shoot) and this is one of those doors you can't bash. How do you open it (this is southeast of where the ranger crypt is that you learn about from the tree for a glass of water).

This is the door that has four chests near it that have signs above each chest?

You need to place an item in each chest that will solve the riddle on each sign. Once you get all four, then the door opens.

Thanks. Wasn't obvious (to me) that I needed to put stuff in the chest....
