ok done (perhaps spoilers if there are replies)

Ok. I'm done. The ending was a little anti-climatic. As far as I know I did every quest. I had 3 easter eggs at the end but no idea what to do with them. I tried to bite one but as far as I could tell it didn't have chocolate in the middle. There was no massive ending fight; the spider was a little hard to kill at the end; no idea what to do with the gold statue - everytime i touched it it cursed me; no idea with to do with skull spliter (I could hit better with my trusty sword so I stuck with it).

Doing all quests and killing most critters I ended up around level 16. I could make the game much easier a second play through by learning all skills from npc; then books then leveling on them - where as this time I learned many skills to high to learn from npc but it still wasn't that hard (of course I restored a lot after deaths).

I was mostly a figther but only had 150 hp (with +20 hp ring) and ended up with str, indurance and dex at 28. Also had alchemy 15 (with +3 item) . long sword nad heavy armor were 10 each ( I suspect they should have been higher).

Ta Da. And it ran pretty well on linux - just 2 crashes due to segv.

There's a place at the wizards school you can use all three eggs. Remember seeing a candleabra looking thing? that should be enough of a hint.

If you play as an athesist or have really, really high wisdom, then the golden statue is relatively easy experience and loot.

What sort of loot ? When I do not fail my wisdom check I see "there is a strange text on the arm that you cannot decipehr" but I do not see much in the way of loot :)

Randomizer means that the goblins that appear when you touch the statue can drop good loot as you kill them.
