After recently purchasing Book I,
First of all: Mucho Kudos... Fantastic game... Lots of fun... Just what I was lookin for... They don't make 'em like they used to doesn't apply here... etc. etc.
Second of all: Since I'm just now nearing endgame with my first char, and already have plans for a few others, I'm not running out of playtime anytime soon, but you have a guaranteed buy for Book II here asap, so I hope it's coming soon! Good luck to the Basilisk team!
Third and finally: Please, please, please, make the combat targeting icon occupy the entire enemy tile, and not just the enemy (uhm sprite or portrait or whatever you'd call it). I can't tell you how many times I got my char (a ranger) into a good position to attack and then, because of the 2-frame animation of the enemy or it's small size, inadvertently took a step directly towards it when trying to attack with a left-click. Nor can I tell you in this forum what I subsequently said in response to this mistake. Thank you Drunken Lizard
Sry I got here late

I too have mentioned this issue elsewhere around here.zZZz wrote:Third and finally: Please, please, please, make the combat targeting icon occupy the entire enemy tile, and not just the enemy (uhm sprite or portrait or whatever you'd call it). Another way I think it could be resolved is if an "Undo Last Move" option was added to Book II as well. (And, now that you have the potential to select the prevention of 'Loot Farming' in Book II, an "Undo Last Move" option should generate fewer 'issues' with than it would have before...)
Both your proposal and mine together would probably be the best solution, IMHO.

But, at the least, I think your solution would be a decent way to (mostly) deal the issue.

Re: Sry I got here late
That's why I always hold down the shift key when attacking, even while using a melee weapon!
Upon closer examination of my problem, I realized the targeting icon IS active over the entire enemy tile, in addition to the portrait. So targeting the enemy's feet works quite well actually to avoid inadvertent movement during combat. Holding the shift key is a useful safeguard also (thanks Bernie).
During this little investigation I think I uncovered a bug that may or may not have been addressed already. It appears that if I camp while it's dark out, and am awakened during daylight, I will still be concealed by darkness as long as I don't move my char, and vice versa. Can anybody confirm...?

Yeah, I remember that happening once or twice, additionally I found in some lightly shadowed areas where I wouldn't have been hiding in shadows properly upon reloading my game save (in the same position) I WAS hiding in shadows.
This made Gramuk a little easier to defeat that particular time.
