As far as I know, the engine was made by BasiliskWrangler using Blitzbasic. Then I'd guess you are looking for game made in Blitzbasic.

The bad news is you've crossed the line!
And you thought you were home free! Nope!

Certainty: a character-driven, literary, turn-based mini-CRPG in which Vasek, legendary "Wandering Philosopher", seeks certainties in a cryptically insular, organic, critically layered city.

All of MDickie's games are made with the same engine, BlitzBasic, if I recall correctly.1SuPeR RaPPeR wrote:hey Bw i was kinda wondering if you can tell me what engine are you using in making of eschalon book(s) because im one of the game's biggest fans and i would really want to find some other games that are made with the same engine U know to pass the time until EB2

BlitzBASIC/Max is not an engine, but a programming language and IDE. I'm using it as well to develop Eclipse. It's pretty simple, and fairly inexpensive, but there's rather poor documentation on it. Which is holding me up on writing my engine, as I've got to figure out things as I go along.
The engine, from my understanding, is a from-scratch custom mill, written by BW.
