My bet is a showdown between Mario and Duke. It's going to be a close one, but I think Mario will end up with the crown. There were some surprises though... like when Bub & Bob beat out the Master Chief. Just goes to show you can't mess with the power of old-school! ^_^

Well it looks like I was a little off... Duke was voted out, but it's a close race between Gordon Freeman and Link for a spot in the finals. What I personally find interesting is that there's only one "New Age" hero in the final four. That tells me that there's a large portion of older gamers that visit the gamespot website, or we're looking at members of gamer families, where the "gamer" parent(s) had a major influence in their child's video gaming habits.
