Problem with hardcore mode

Post by dak »

I like to play in hardcore but I am having a problem.... Sometimes I need to quit / turn off the computer... but even if I have full health and in good condition etc, the only choice is to drop my progress as far as I understand.

I would like a feature like, quit now continue later.....

The only restriction on saving in hardcore mode is if you are unhealthy or if an enemy is near by. Try pressing F2 for Quicksave.

hey dak,

I play in hardcore too and I encountered the same problem. Had to lose my progress once and the other time I just let it sit for hours while I left and came back-- not the ideal situation, but a "quit game and continue later" feature would be really handy for the hardcore players.

Indeed. You should suffer a bit for those sweet, sweet extra XP 8)

Yessss I did it! After a year of skulking around on these forums I´ve finally shown my face! Hello everybody and a (very optional) extra hug for all fellow Rogues out there :D
