Can I just "borrow" an empty room in the city (for example in Port Kuwaad) ?
Is it possible to leave there my things without being stolen? Like exploiting barrels?

Re: Places like home
Sure, go ahead and use chests and stuff to store your things, but beware: If someone sees you take something from a container (not barrels), it will count as theft even if you put it there yourself! The best way to avoid being assaulted for this is to simply close the door

In Book1 I invented this trick. I camped near the town until I was attacked by some random encounter monsters. Some of killed monsters dropped the loot. So I used those loot parcels as a containers to store my items. The parcel stays as long as you keep at least 1 item in it, and you can have as many of those as you want.
Hope, this works in Book2 as well )

Wow..that IS a good idea. Great for stashing those heavy exploding barrels.

Yes, it works in Book2. I used the bag outside my house front door to stash stuff like my journal, the letter and other bits of useless paper not needed anymore (until I was almost to the end of the game and I KNEW it wasn't needed again later) and kept the more useful items inside the house and in the barrel. Any open barrel can be used to stash stuff, just make a note where you are keeping things. I tend to forget after a while if spread all over the place!Wester Egg wrote:In Book1 I invented this trick.
