Chest inside rock near Forsaken monument

Way to the chest locked by rocks and need many explosive.

I blew myself UP once or twice and decided to forgo this chest till I locate more blasting powder (have used blasting powder elsewhere) Also there is a tower north west of Everdale which has a critter that may just need a littlt blast.

There were plenty of powder barrels I didn't need for other projects in the game - though I exploded a few wantonly and ended up having to drag barrels from Hammerlorne mine to the area to finish getting to the chest. Dunno if this was a random chest of high value, or always has these specific items, but the items were worthless to my poor mage. Only got like 470ish gold for my troubles.

The item(s) in that chest are not random. It is one of the 'named' weapons in the game. Whether it is useful to you or not depends on whether you use this type of weapon. The 'named' weapons are one of a kind, so if you sell it, it will be gone forever..unless you get enough money to buy it back before the blacksmith renews his stock.

Not merely useless to me - actually a detriment to my final score, since using it would break the True Mage challenge. So... just 400 bucks as far as I'm concerned

I loved it...came in quite handy for the longest time.

Oh, and with a high enough Alchemy and the right reagents, you can throw additional properties on those named weapons to make them even better. *THAT* is cool! (Well, ok, to me...)

I finally decided to go and finish the passage and the weapons are interesting, I am sure Bruce Lee would think So..LOL
