Where are you supposed to get the quest: crux of fire, on to Hammerlorne?

After getting the Hammerlorne key from Sparrow, and you have to take the key, you triggeer the next part of the Crux of Fire quest, On to Hammerlorne.

If you skip getting the key from Sparrow and get it else where or use other means to enter Hammerlorne you should never see this quest and will miss out on the 2000 experience.

When you start the game and the man you went to see in the inn is assassinated you get a special lens. Have you talked to the people in the first town? One of them tells you to go talk to her uncle by the lake. He tells you to go talk to someone in Port Kuudad. That person tells you to find the hidden quild. Inside the guild your told to find sparrow and get a key and from there...

Not sure if you have to start over or not. BW? ?

Hidden guild = is this the place on the island with the plants garding/ surrounding it?

Inside there are mages on upper level and there's only 1 npc with a conversation option.

No - those are the Lorewitches. They even appear on the map you can buy in some Inns. Not very hidden, just not very interested in having you drop in.

The "hidden" guild is hidden much better

Right, so If I find this 'hidden guild', will I be able to start the crux of ages quest?

I still have to complete the 'secret society' quest, thus finding the hidden guild.

Not sure if you have to start over or not. BW? ?

BW claims to have fixed that problem.

Indeed. I found the hidden guild. I explained to the leader I already killed sparrow (self defense), and I got the Crux of ages quest.
