I lost the Lycanthrope! (spoiler)

Post by MaryEllen »

So, I killed Xed, took the ring to Everdale, attacked the lycanthrope, and nearly got killed. I ducked into the next screen to rest up, to get my hit points back, went back and fought more -- I did this a couple of times, and after the second time, the lycanthrope was gone! I didn't kill it, but I can't find it anywhere. Help?

Sometimes creatures that chase you will then try to find their way back to their "home" area. However, they can get lost just like you or me- he is probably wandering around the woods looking for you, or for the way home.

Unless you managed to poison him. He might have wandered off and died from poisoning if you had. That means his pelt could be anywhere!

Keep searching!

I didn't poison him. I've been searching around -- where do you think his "home" area would be, if he's not back in the shop in Everdale?

There are plenty of little places in the woods where something can get hanged up. Just search on both sides of the route that you left along and the starting point.

Also if you are like me and leave doors open the lycanthrope might have wandered into a building.

Hmmm... not in any of the buildings, and I've searched every nook and cranny in the Everdale area. Could it have moved to a different area? Because if not, I'm stumped.

Care to send me a saved game? I bet I could find him!

I would, but... I have no idea how to do that. I didn't know I could do that!

Go to the saved game folders and compress a save into a zip file. Quicksave is slot1 and the next is slot2 and so forth. The location of the saved games is mentioned here:
